On April 22, a round-table discussion initiated by the Information and Public Relations Center was held, dedicated to combating disinformation and the steps being taken in that direction.
During the discussion, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, Press Secretary to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, presented the studies and actions carried out by the Government aimed at detecting and countering disinformation campaigns. According to her, ensuring information security remains a priority, especially in the face of modern hybrid challenges.
Within the framework of the meeting, Gor Tsarukyan, Director of the Information and Public Relations Center, introduced Stugel.am, a new content verification platform created by the Center, emphasizing its role in preventing the spread of disinformation.
During the event, potential formats of cooperation among state institutions, media representatives, and civil society were also discussed. The participants engaged in the session with questions and observations.
